What You'll Do:
Traeger is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) with a strong focus on employee relations to join our dynamic People and Culture team. As HR Business Partner, you will serve as a strategic advisor collaborating with leadership and employees to enhance performance, improve employee engagement, and ensure compliance with HR policies and labor law. This role supports our commissioned-based Brand Ambassador sales team. The Brand Ambassador team is made up of 200 passionate sales individuals who travel the country selling our products, welcoming customers into the Traegerhood one-by-one.
How You'll Help Us Win:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees by addressing concerns, fostering a positive work environment, and guiding leadership on conflict resolution.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, including conducting investigations and recommending appropriate actions.
- Develop and implement initiatives that promote a fair, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture.
- Partner with leaders to develop initiatives that foster a culture of high performance and accountability.
- Analyze data from engagement surveys and employee feedback to facilitate regular action planning and make recommendations on workplace improvements.
- Embed within the business unit to understand its goals, challenges, and workforce needs, to provide tailored HR support and strategic guidance.
- Advise managers on HR policies, ensuring consistent application, including FMLA, ADA, and workers' compensation cases.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and industry best practices while mitigating risk.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- 5 years of proven experience as a HR Business Partner (supporting sales teams preferred)
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and industry trends
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in HR software and data-driven decision-making.
