What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at Trafera LLC?
The Material Handler is responsible for keeping the Production Associate’s workstation fully stocked with devices assuring that daily production and schedules are met. The primary function will be the coordination and delivery of devices, accessories, packaging material and pallets to accelerate operations.
Position Duties/Responsibilities:
- Keep the flow of the operation smooth by replenishing orders, refilling supplies, removing garbage and cardboard from the Production room.
- Keep the room tidy and organized for maximum efficiency.
- Communicate with Production Team Leads and Production Supervisor on daily and weekly expectations.
- Organize pallets, carts, and boxes as needed.
- Be present in the Production room for the majority of the day.
- Maintain a safe, organized and overall efficient work area.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Build necessary outbound packaging materials for production team (Trafera branded green pack, mini green pack, smart shippers, adapter boxes, etc)
- Unpackaging cases or other accessories

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Forklift certification is a plus or willingness to learn
- Experience with pallet jack and electric pallet jack
Essential and Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and moving
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
