What are the responsibilities and job description for the Traffic Cabinet Assembler position at Traffic Control Corporation?
Requirements:
- Basic math skills such as but not limited to: addition, subtraction, division, ability to use rulers and measurement devices
- Understands written and verbal English instructions
- Ability to use various hand tools such as but not limited to: soldering gun, wire cutters, crimper, drills, tape measure, and screwdrivers
- Stand for up to 8 hours per day
- Reliable Transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Works well independently or in a team environment
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assembles standard sub-assemblies such as but not limited to: fan panels, police panels, quad outlets, etc.
- Layout of all types of cabinets, per customer requirements.
- Attaches all sub-assemblies and necessary components to cabinet per written/verbal specifications
- Attaches wires to various parts by using proper lug crimping tools, soldering iron/guns, etc.
- Keeps inventory stocked and notifies proper personnel of any concerns of low quantities, materials, etc.
- Keeps work area clean and organized
- Other duties may assigned as necessary
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
