Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Manage and schedule crews, project progression, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with clients, project superintendents, foremen, and other construction management to determine budget and timeline of the projects.
- Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers.
- Create schedules for project staff and subcontractors.
- Make changes in the operation as necessary to best meet construction deadlines.
- Implement management techniques that are cost-effective and efficient.
- Collect data and develop as-builts for projects.
- Oversee safety operation of working crews.
- Produce monthly billings and quantity tracking.
- Access and implement safe work practices.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following guidelines, standards, and procedures set forth by Traffic Control Devices.
- Represent Traffic Control Devices at meetings with project stakeholders, vendors, and subcontractors.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be able to read and interpret FDOT design construction, standards, drawings, and specifications for ITS, signing, signalization, and lighting projects.
- Be familiar with all operations of construction with installation, testing, integration, full operation, and acceptance of the project(s).
- Possess and maintain a valid DL with an active medical card.
- Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft suite products and Adobe PDF exchange.
Education & Experience:
- Two-year college degree in construction management, engineering, or other related area or equivalent experience.
- Business experience preferred.
- Industry experience is a must with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervision role or higher.
Pre-Screen:
- Upon offer, employees may be required to subject and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR check.
License & Certifications:
- Driver's License required.
