WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As a Branch Manager, you’ll oversee safety, field operations, and office administration. You’ll lead your team to ensure a safe work environment, achieve profitability, and enhance operational efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities
Safety:
- Foster a culture of safety, ensuring it remains the top priority.
- Oversee all safety measures, including compliance with OSHA standards and conducting safety meetings.
- Collaborate with Safety Managers to complete objective jobsite inspections and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct daily tailgate and bi-weekly safety meetings to reinforce training and safety commitment.
- Ensure timely reporting and corrective action for incidents and near-misses.
Business Administration & Development:
- Analyze and manage the branch’s Profit & Loss statement, identifying opportunities for operational efficiencies.
- Develop marketing strategies to grow existing business and capture new opportunities.
- Set sales and service goals while driving initiatives to increase branch performance.
- Ensure compliance with administrative procedures, including work receipts, billing, and invoicing.
- Work effectively within Collective Bargaining Agreements, where applicable.
Service Operations:
- Manage dispatching and scheduling for all field operations.
- Oversee project planning, and management to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.
- Collaborate with subcontractors to maintain project timelines.
Product Sales & Rentals:
- Maintain accurate inventory controls and reporting, proposing improvements as needed.
- Manage petty cash funds and ensure timely submission of reports.
- Oversee all paperwork related to inventory, sales, and rental equipment.
Employee Development & Recruitment:
- Create a safe, supportive, and professional work environment.
- Conduct interviews, train, and develop staff while conducting performance reviews and addressing employee relations.
- Manage disciplinary actions and terminations with corporate approval.
Facilities & Fleet:
- Oversee facility maintenance, security, and appearance.
- Ensure vendor accounts and permits are properly managed.
- Manage all aspects of fleet maintenance and reporting.
Reporting:
- Provide monthly recaps of key branch activities to the COO.
WHAT YOU BRING:
- In-depth knowledge of MUTCD guidelines, safety systems, and OSHA requirements.
- Proven expertise in budget analysis, profit and loss management, and operational efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least four years of relevant experience, preferably in construction.
