We are seeking an ideal candidate with Project Management experience in PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit and municipal land development projects.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Manage large land development projects in traffic engineering and planning, from concept to completion.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on tasks such as traffic impact studies, intersection design, traffic signal design, roadway signing and pavement marking plans, and traffic and signal operations analysis.
- Obtain, analyze, and apply PennDOT's Highway Occupancy Permit Design Criteria/procedure to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Oversee report preparation, specifications, plans, construction schedules, impact studies, permits, and designs for projects.
- Represent the company at municipal meetings, hearings, and PennDOT staff meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (required)
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid Driver's License
- Knowledge of Pennsylvania Municipal Planning Code
- Experience with testimony on behalf of land development applicants in Pennsylvania municipal approvals
