We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team in the Traffic and Safety Supply industry. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential clients, selling our products and services, and providing field support and demos of our equipment and products.
Responsibilities:
- Cooperatively develop and execute a sales strategy to drive business growth and meet sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Identify and prospect potential clients in the construction industry, including contractors, builders, municipalities and other industry professionals.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients through regular communication and on-site visits.
- Present and demonstrate our products and services to potential customers, addressing their needs and providing solutions.
- Collaborate with the internal team to ensure timely delivery of products and services, and handle any customer inquiries or issues.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Provide field support and troubleshooting of MOT equipment as needed.
- Visit Construction sites, Offices, trade shows, and industry events to promote company products and expand the customer base.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in outside sales, preferably in the construction supply or related industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building successful client relationships.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively present and negotiate with clients.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
