Your Part in It:
Working out of our Long Beach office, we are looking for our next Ocean Import Coordinator. This role is key to ensuring the successful coordination and execution of ocean import shipments while meeting the needs of our customers. You will use your knowledge and organizational skills to support the growing international operations of Traffic Tech and ensure the highest standard of service.
OCEAN IMPORT COORDINATOR
What the Job Entails:
- Track and trace ocean import shipments to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare documentation and manifests for customs clearance.
- Communicate with clients, carriers, and agents to manage shipment updates and resolve any issues.
- Utilize CargoWise to process and manage shipments (preferred).
- Ensure all import documentation is accurate and compliant with applicable regulations.
What We Are Looking For:
- 3-5 years of experience in ocean import operations.
- Strong understanding of international import procedures.
- Experience with CargoWise is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Customer service experience, with a focus on professionalism and problem-solving.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
