Performance Media Buyer ( Programmatic, Social, Direct to Publications, NOT Google/FANG)
MediaReps is seeking a full-time Marketing / Publishing Manager to join our team.
The ideal candidate has full-circle digital marketing experience, with experience managing paid channels/media buying. Preferably working with larger budgets of $50,000 - $250,000 per month in spend and programmatic buys.
We are comfortable hiring those with less experience, provided you have the capacity to learn quickly.

Responsibilities:
- Prospect for new sources of traffic
- Take over and manage an existing book of business
- Buy in the traffic at the best negotiated rates
- Starts & Stops the traffic with the publisher
- Informs Inventory Manager of the new traffic coming in
- Negotiates rates with the Publisher Cost/CPM if zones are taking losses or not generating the correct CPM
- Fulfills demand received through traffic requests from Sales & Affiliates
- Vets publisher and traffic quality
- Work closely with management and our marketing team to ensure we are on-track to reach targets.
- Extract, manipulate, and analyze data to improve onsite digital marketing performance. Google Analytics, UTMs, Google Sheets/Excel, and similar software is your best friend.
- Work alongside our existing Sales Team to assist with inventory efforts.
Requirements:
- Deep experience with paid channels - specifically AdWords & Programmatic Media Buys. You should be very comfortable working with a spend of ~$50k - $250k per month.
- Previous experience in eCommerce or digitally-enabled direct-to-consumer brands, or SaaS.
- Highly self-motivated, able to learn quickly, and comfortable working ~60 hours a week in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
Compensation is tied to performance and your ability to learn & grow alongside the company.

Our ideal candidate can come into the office in San Diego at least 5x a week. However, we are open to remote candidates as well.
