Position: Manager of Data Analytics and Insights
Reports To: Executive Director
Status: Exempt
Location: Irvine, CA
Position Summary
The Manager of Data Analytics and Insights will play a pivotal role in providing actionable data points to inform strategy and creative execution across traditional and digital channels. This role requires managing client projects and ensuring timely and successful project delivery while leveraging data to drive impactful business insights.
Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end management of client projects, maintain project trackers, and ensure alignment with timelines and deliverables.
- Lead and manage weekly project updates and progress reports.
- Develop a deep understanding of clients’ business challenges and goals.
- Proactively solve problems by developing hypotheses and deriving actionable insights from data sets across eCommerce, direct mail, and other channels.
- Prepare and present detailed reports and dashboards to provide insights into business performance.
- Combine data manipulation and visualization skills to deliver senior-level client presentations.
- Design, deploy, analyze, and optimize A/B, multivariate, and hypothesis tests.
- Configure and deploy website tagging and analytics tools, including custom events and variables.
- Partner with digital and development teams to improve BI and analytics tools.
- Develop and enhance analytics models to support attribution and performance measurement.
- Use data to identify trends and patterns in business performance. Promote and implement best practices in data analysis and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on analytical and operational projects.
Employment Standards:
Education
College degree required. Concentration in marketing, business, data science or psychology preferred.
Experience:
- 5 years of experience working for an advertising agency or related marketing field. Must have strong data analytics skillsets with a strong understanding of offline and online communications.

- Highly organized, self-starter with strong motivation to work across industries.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proven ability to present insights clearly and effectively, telling a cohesive story with data.
- Advanced skills in data manipulation and visualization tools.
Technical Proficiencies:
Required:
- Adobe Analytics (including implementation).
- Google Analytics (including implementation).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Access.
Preferred:
- Adobe Experience Cloud products (e.g., Target, Audience Manager, Tag Manager).
- Google Tag Manager and Google 360 suite.
- Adobe Launch or DTM.
- Tableau or Power BI.
- Basic coding for data manipulation.
- Campaign tracking and attribution models.
Plus:
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Basecamp, Workfront, Jira, Asana, Slack, or Tick.
- Experience in InDesign is a plus (training available if needed).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
