Main Purpose:
As a key member of our talent acquisition team, the candidate will be responsible for attracting top talent into the organisation across the North America region. The candidate will be managing the full end to end recruitment process (for roles of all levels, from graduate to senior commercial), partnering closely with hiring managers across multiple countries and from various departments to ensure that our recruitment strategies align with business objectives and deliver exceptional results.Reporting directly to the Global Head of Talent Acquisition, the candidate will have complete ownership of recruitment activities in the region, playing a pivotal part in driving Trafigura's continued success by identifying, engaging, and securing the best talent in the market, whilst working within a global team.

- 8 years’ of in-house and agency recruiting experience, preferred experience working in commodities/trading
- A true professional with strong communication skills and understanding of the business to effectively interact with candidates, hiring managers and senior stakeholders
- Proven direct sourcing skills for active and passive candidates
- Strong technical skills, digitally savvy and proficient use of ATS and Social Media platforms (preferably Workday and LinkedIn Recruiter)
- Proactive, self starting and happy working autonomously but with the ability to work as part of a global team
- Highly organized, focused and with superior attention to detail, able to simultaneously handle large volumes of high priority roles across different countries, divisions and seniority levels
- Outstanding teammate, collaborative and with flexible approach to all aspects of Talent Acquisition and its influence on the company’s success and progress
- Awareness and accountability for own influence and responsibility in creating an inclusive, diverse and respectful workplace
Key Responsibilities
- Management of all end-to-end recruitment (at all levels) in the North America region
- Emphasis on direct hiring, with some use of external vendors occasionally when required.
- Partnering with Hiring Managers to assess talent needs and provide expertise and guidance around hiring plan and strategy, driving the full recruiting process.
- Proactive sourcing of passive candidates through various channels and initiatives to build a talent pipeline
- Conduct thorough HR interviews to assess both technical baseline as well as competency skills/culture fit as required.
- Provide training and guidance to Hiring Managers and stakeholders on recruitment processes and candidate assessments.
- Work as part of the Talent Acquisition team to support other regions when required, as well as support on various global talent acquisition initiatives and technologies
- Occasionally act as back up to the regional HR Team
