JOB DESCRIPTION:
Preferred Skills:
Experience in healthcare IT or clinical operations.
Familiarity with tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar ticketing/project management systems.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH) related to healthcare technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Readiness Assessments:
Conduct thorough technical readiness evaluations to ensure infrastructure, systems, and resources meet Epic requirements.
Identify and resolve technical gaps or potential issues prior to implementation or upgrades.
System Optimization and Support:
Collaborate with technical teams to configure, optimize, and support Epic modules and integrated systems.
Perform routine system checks and ensure compliance with organizational standards and Epic best practices.
Project Coordination:
Partner with project managers, Epic application analysts, and operational leaders to develop and execute project plans.
Track milestones, timelines, and deliverables to ensure projects remain on schedule.
Collaboration and Communication:
Serve as a liaison between technical teams and clinical/operational stakeholders to align technical solutions with organizational needs.
Provide clear and timely communication regarding technical readiness and project progress.
Training and Documentation:
Develop and deliver technical training sessions for end-users and support teams as needed.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to technical readiness processes, system configurations, and support protocols.
Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution:
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Epic systems and associated technologies.
Escalate complex issues to Epic support or vendors, as necessary, and follow through to resolution.
