Position Summary
Responsible for various tasks to support receiving, shipping and inventory management at the wain facility warehouse. Daily Supervision of warehouse team members, driving accuracy and accountability. Tasks include coordinating employee schedules, lunches, time off, running reports, picking ingredients and components to stage for transfer between facilities. As needed, assist with loading/unloading trucks, wrapping finished goods and overseeing FIFO and inventory accuracy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time and follow the company handbook.
• Ensures compliance with the Company’s HACCP program and FDA requirements
• Quantity - Meets productivity standards; Completes work in timely manner; Strives to increase productivity.
• Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, applies feedback to improve performance.
• Daily approval of time in Paycom for hourly direct reports.
• Maintain safe and organized operation by complying with company operational policies, procedures, and standards
• Observes safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly.
• Written Communication - Writes in English clearly and informatively; Able to read and interpret written information.
• Responds accordingly to food safety and quality issues, reports issues to necessary department managers.
• Time management – Getting things done in a timely manner while keeping safety in mind.
• Learn and perform all tasks from each position within department for training and accountability of team members on a daily basis (refer to each positon job description).
• Helps in general warehouse duties when coverage is needed or time is available.
• Informs maintenance of equipment malfunctions, coordinates with outside vendors as necessary for repairs.
• Operate stand up narrow aisle forklift and sit down forklift
• Assists in monthly inventory and FIFO (First In First Out) reporting, completes and submits warehouse loss reports.
• Updates “fruit rotation” on a daily basis or as needed.
• Ensures cooler / freezer are in FIFO rotation with all fruits, especially during busy fresh fruit season.
• Completes warehouse Audit on form G7 Daily and takes care of issues.
• Audit forklift driver Pre-op sheets for employees to make sure they are being filled out daily.
• Certified forklift Trainer – certifies all forklift drivers to make sure we stay compliant.
• Manages pallet trailer and trash schedule
• Creates weekly staffing schedule for WH department
• Ensures all production inventory requirements have been requested and staged per upcoming production schedules.
• Work with QA and print daily release email. Puts away finished product into FIFO rotation. Releases it from Q-hold in AccountMate
• Picks shipping orders following a FIFO rotation with a plan of 2 business days ahead.
• Prints a schedule for the day, finds orders that are shipping that day and makes sure they are ready to ship.
• May need to assist with loading and unloading trucks using a fork truck or pallet Jack in a timely manner.
• Ships and receives product following Trailblazer’s shipping procedure/policy and writing down all the necessary documentation
• Receive items per receiving procedure. Put away in a FIFO rotation (ingredients, packaging, etc.)
• Identify container defects at unload, and manually deflects packages to predetermined accumulator or reject area. Reject damaged product per procedures by customer requirements.
• Tracking the transportation and usage of inventory.
• AccountMate - Purchase order Module, Sales order Module, Inventory Control Module
• Interfacing with offsite warehouse personnel to ensure coordination of product coming and going without delays.
• Verifies fruit thaw for production, and checks that correct product & amounts are received and labeled.
• Coordinating with warehouse team inventory requirements and procurement details, printing requirements report from Accountmate and ensuring items are getting staged 72hours of use.
• Writes daily reports on the materials status of the next 72 hours of production.
• Place purchase orders and issue releases for locally stored components for daily production needs.
• Use Email for daily communications

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
High school diploma or GED required

• Minimum of one year warehouse supervision experience, preferably in a food manufacturing environment
• Must be able to read, write speak the English language
• Use simple math, and use basic hand held measuring tools
• Ability to complete work in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner and to be conscientious about assignments
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company
• Ability to exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others and works to maintain constructive working relationships

The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. Hearing protection must be worn on the plant floor.
