RRT
Shift: 3x12 Days 0700-1830 *blocked schedule considered for Fri/Sat/Sun, Sat/Sun/Mon, or Sun/Mon/Tue
On Call/Weekend Requirement: No on call requirement, every other weekend required; holiday coverage expected
Float Requirement: Float between Adult and NICU
Local Rate within *** Miles of facility
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience as an RRT: all ages; must have some experience with critical neonates for floating requirement
- 1 prior travel assignment completed
- BLS
- CRT
- NRP
- MD State licensure
- ED experience preferred
- ACLS preferred
- PALS preferred
Job position Details:
- Traveler will be doing the following: Airway Management Devices/Suctioning: Endotracheal tube/suctioning, Extubation, Nasal airway placement, Nasal airway suctioning, Oral airway placement, Oropharyngeal/suctioning, Pulmonary Hygiene, Sputum specimen collection, Tracheostomy/suctioning, ABG interpretation
- Skills Required for success: Airway Management Devices/Suctioning, Albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, Flovent, Inhaled steroids, Isuprel, Lidocaine, Perforomist, Pulmicort, Racemic epinephrine, Spiriva, Terbutaline Sulfate, Tobramycin, Xopenex, Aerosol set up mask, Aerosol set up trach, Medihaler, Metered dose inhaler, Nebulizer, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Trach collar, BiPAP, CPAP, Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, Weaning from mechanical ventilation, Assist in high risk delivery, Umbilical blood gases, Draeger V500, Draeger VN500, Servo U, Comfortable drawing and analyzing ABGs, Cerner (Skills Preferred: Bronchoscopy, Bicarbonate, Inhaled Flolan, Ketamine, Mucomyst, Nitric Oxide (INo), Theophylline)
