ABOUT OUR HOST ROLE
We are seeking a Host Greeter for Outlet 1 Trailborn Surf and Sound in WBNC. As a Host Greeter, you will be responsible for warmly welcoming and greeting guests as they arrive at the outlet. You will be the first point of contact for guests and will be responsible for ensuring that they have a positive experience from the moment they arrive. Your main goal will be to create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere that will encourage guests to return.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Greet guests as they arrive at the outlet
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Answer any questions guests may have about the menu or outlet
- Assist with seating arrangements and reservations
- Maintain a clean and organized entrance area
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of the local area and attractions
- Ability to speak multiple languages
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to remain upright and able to continuously move on a firm surface for an 8–10-hour shift.
- Must be able to move at least 20 pounds up to 5 feet high without another person's aid.
SKILLS
As a Host Greeter, you will need to have excellent communication and customer service skills to ensure that guests have a positive experience. You will also need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible with your schedule. Knowledge of the local area and attractions, as well as the ability to speak multiple languages, would be beneficial in providing exceptional service to our guests. Additionally, you will need to be able to maintain a clean and organized entrance area and assist with seating arrangements and reservations.
SCHEDULE
Hospitality demands a flexible schedule that may require extended hours as the business requires coverage including seasonality – on any day at any hour, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
SALARY RANGE
$12 per hour with potential for additional gratuity
