About Our Role
The Activities Supervisor will be responsible for training and assisting Beach/Pool Attendants on daily tasks. They will ensure the complete set-up and/or take down of pool, lawn, and beach amenities. They are also responsible for maintaining overall cleanliness and the appearance of recreation facilities, assisting guests with activity rentals and ensuring the guests’ needs are met while utilizing resort amenities.

About Our Role
The Activities Supervisor will be responsible for training and assisting Beach/Pool Attendants on daily tasks. They are also responsible for maintaining overall cleanliness and the appearance of recreation facilities, assisting guests with activity rentals and ensuring the guests’ needs are met while utilizing resort amenities.
Essential
FUNCTIONS
- Train Beach/Pool Attendants, completing training logs for each staff member.
- Assist the Activities Director with monitoring recreation facilities and condition of equipment.
- Oversee and assist with daily set-up or take down of beach rentals.
- Awareness and promotion of all resort amenities, activities, and rentals.
- Have thorough knowledge of the surrounding area to help answer any guest questions.
- Ability to book activities and amenities within the activity booking system.
- Properly store and care for activity equipment.
- Learn all software systems for scheduling and billing purposes.
- Check email during scheduled workdays and be aware of groups or other special events in house.
- Assist with other departments as needed.
- Apply Labor Management Practices:
- Monitor weather and occupancy to determine early staff cuts or utilizing on call staff when needed.
- Schedule daily breaks for staff to ensure coverage is provided.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Radio etiquette
- Strong attention to detail in documenting transactions and accurately billing guests
- Always in proper uniform
- Complete required training programs.
- Ability to work weekends, mornings, weekdays, and holidays.
Requirements
- Ability to stand for up to eight hours a day outdoors and work in all weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Strong swimmer: ability to exercise for a period of 30 minutes at one time.
