Job Description:
Purpose: The Parts Delivery Associate is responsible for efficiently handling, distributing, and delivering parts within the organization. This role ensures that all parts-related activities are conducted accurately and efficiently to support the company's overall operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unload parts orders and confirm all counts on packing slips.
- Place parts in assigned areas and distribute them to technicians.
- Pull parts for shop jobs and place them in the back of trailers being repaired.
- Monitor shop supplies and order as needed.
- Keep the parts room clean and organized.
- Order shop tools for the Service Department (with approval from the Branch General Manager).
- Monitor approved work orders and send out emails when parts arrive for approved jobs.
- Deliver and pick up parts in a timely manner.
- Complete checklists on all parts assigned vehicles every Monday morning.
- Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
- Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment to ensure proper working condition.
- Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles.
- Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers.
- Turn in receipts and money received from deliveries.
- Maintain records, such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements, in accordance with regulations.
- Read maps and follow written or verbal geographic directions.
- Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to bases or other vehicles using telephones or mobile two-way radios.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in parts delivery, logistics, or a related field.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and procedures is a plus.

Work Setting & Conditions:
- Mainly indoors, environmentally controlled
- Regular cleaning required
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, plus occasionally extended hours as needed
Work Attire:
- Business casual attire, Monday – Thursday, business innovative on Friday (jeans approved)
