Job Description: The Sales Support Specialist plays a crucial role in our operations, providing administrative and logistical support to the sales team. This includes managing customer data, generating sales proposals, processing orders, answering customer inquiries, and coordinating communication with the sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage customer data and generate sales proposals.
- Process orders and answer customer inquiries.
- Coordinate communication with the sales team.
- Run monthly sales reports by salesperson and inventory category.
- Generate reports for aged inventory and commission calculations.
- Prepare customer invoices and provide administrative assistance.
- Provide Karmak training to sales team members.
- Attend meetings with manufacturers and network with other dealers.
- Correspond with dealers in other states regarding the sale of new and used equipment.
- Coordinate with the shop on sold orders.
- Oversee sales administrative staff and act as a backup.
- Maintain trailer equipment inventory and vehicle inventory.
- Generate and maintain license plates and related documentation.
- Perform general office duties such as filing, scanning documents, and answering telephones.
- Reconcile discrepancies in accounting records.
- Handle customer concerns and questions appropriately.
Work Setting & Conditions:
- Mainly indoors, environmentally controlled.
- Regular cleaning required.
- Must be able to lift heavy boxes and adjust to various physical activities.
- Business casual attire from Monday to Thursday, with more relaxed attire on Fridays.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales support is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in computer skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to work Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with occasional extended hours.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
