Diesel Technician

Job Description

Hiring all levels diesel techs.

We are seeking an experienced, qualified and personable diesel technicians to join our growing team of technicians. Diesel repair experience is required, as we have started repairs at our location in addition to mobile repairs, The candidate will need 1 or more years in diesel, heavy duty truck, medium or equipment repair industry. Candidates must possess a clean driving record and reliable transportation. Willingness to work is required. Overtime is also available intermittently, depending on the needs of our clients. Overall, we seek a flexible individual who's willing to go the extra mile when necessary!

Responsibilities

- Perform Routine Maintenance on medium to heavy duty truck

- Diagnose and repair engine electronics

- Diagnose and repair engine fault codes (Company supplied software)

- Replace clutches & transmissions

- Knowledge of diagnosis, removal and installation of major drive train components and general class 5 to class 8 truck repair.

- Willingness to work occasionally on trailers

- Repair / Replace brakes, suspension and air component

- Ability and confidence in performing annual certifications and inspections

- Replace / repair tires

- Repair / replaced electrical and light components

- Repair, Weld and fabricate frame and body components

- Must own hand tools

- Repair the latest trucks/tractors in the industry

Experience

-1 year in the field

- An ability to accomplish tasks with little supervision

- A history of safe work habits

- Ability to produce quality work in a billable hours environment.

- Highly motivated, detail oriented, self-sufficient technician with a “make it happen” attitude & approach.

- Able to lift up to 100lbs

- CDL and ASE certification and/or welding skills a plus

- Clean driving record

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
