Cafecito, located at 922 Shoofly St in Santa Fe, NM, is looking for a dedicated and experienced Hospitality Manager to lead our front-of-house team and collaborate closely with the Owners and Chef. In this role, you will oversee daily operations for dinner service, cultivate a positive and motivated team culture, and ensure an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Your leadership, creativity, and passion for hospitality will be instrumental in shaping Cafecito’s growth, helping it flourish into one of Santa Fe’s premier casual dining destinations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations, including opening/closing procedures, inventory management, and staff scheduling.
- Lead and motivate the team to ensure exceptional customer service.
- Manage vendor relationships and supply orders while monitoring budgets, sales targets, and costs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Address customer feedback and resolve issues promptly.
- Train and onboard new staff members to maintain high standards.
- Collaborate with the Chef to plan menus, manage inventory, and coordinate front-of-house and kitchen operations.
- Support the Chef in maintaining food quality, hygiene standards, and creating strategies for events and promotions.
Networking and Community Engagement:
- Build relationships with local food producers, culinary schools, and industry professionals.
- Leverage social media to connect with the Santa Fe hospitality community and promote the cafe.
- Attend local events, such as farmers markets, food festivals, and networking mixers.
- Partner with local businesses to host events and cross-promote offerings.
- Engage with regular customers and host community events to foster loyalty and word-of-mouth referrals.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in hospitality or food service management (3 years preferred).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management and POS systems.
- Knowledge of food safety and hospitality best practices.
- Ability to multitask and excel in a fast-paced environment.
