Based at our corporate office in Hurley NY, this dynamic position will play a pivotal role in driving brand awareness, employee engagement, and ridership growth by overseeing content creation, social media management, recruitment campaigns, and regional marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities:
Regional Marketing Strategy & Execution
· Develop and execute regional marketing plans aligned with overall business objectives.
· Identify local opportunities to promote seasonal college routes, community partnerships, and events.
· Collaborate with the corporate Trailways.com team to ensure regional efforts integrate with national strategies.
Content Development & Management
- Create compelling content (written, visual, and multimedia) to showcase Trailways’ services, culture, and impact.
- Manage the content calendar for regional campaigns, ensuring consistent messaging across platforms.
- Develop promotional materials to support employee recruitment and seasonal route marketing.
Social Media Management
- Collaborate with the Trailways.com social media team to maintain a dynamic and engaging presence across platforms.
- Develop and manage localized social media campaigns to reach regional audiences.
- Monitor analytics to evaluate social media performance and identify areas for improvement.
Employee Recruitment & Engagement
- Design and implement marketing campaigns to attract bus drivers, diesel mechanics, and other critical roles.
- Partner with HR to showcase the Trailways culture and career opportunities.
- Develop employee engagement initiatives to build a strong internal brand and sense of community.
Seasonal College Route Promotion
- Plan and execute campaigns targeting students, parents, and universities to maximize ridership on seasonal college routes.
- Foster relationships with local colleges to increase awareness of Trailways services.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Act as the primary liaison between regional stakeholders and the corporate marketing team.
- Track and report on the effectiveness of marketing efforts, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on regional or localized campaigns.
- Proven track record of managing social media platforms and content development.
Skills & Competencies
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Creative thinker who can develop innovative campaigns with limited resources.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
