Motor Coach Driver-Weekly Pay Guarantee and Overtime after 40 hours

Trailways of New York, a prominent family-owned intercity bus company established in 1926, is currently seeking dedicated and responsible Coach Bus Drivers based out of the

• Rochester, New York
• area.

As a Coach Bus Driver, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while transporting our passengers along designated routes for safe and timely departures and arrivals throughout New York State, into Montreal and Toronto in Canada and Detroit, Michigan.

• The preferred candidate has :
• A strong commitment to safety, punctuality and professionalism while operating your vehicle.
• A passion for customer service and excellent communication skills.
• More than one year of experience driving a Motor Coach, (preferred) school bus (preferred) or commercial vehicle.
• A valid Class A or B commercial driver's license with an acceptable driving history.
• An unrestricted Passenger endorsement.
• ability to transport 16 passengers or more)._
• A valid passport or enhanced driver's license for travel to Canada _(preferred but not required)._
• The ability to complete a 6-week training program that will require being away from home Monday-Friday.
• The ability to work a 5-or 6-day work week, (Full-Time) with open availability during those days including
• nights, weekends, holidays and occasional overnight trips.
• The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check and DOT physical exam.
• The love of driving and the willingness to travel
• throughout New York State and to Montreal and Toronto, Canada.
• Your benefits :
• 6-Week Paid Training Program-$22 per hour increasing to $33 per hour after 40 hours weekly for the entire training period.
• Paid every Friday.
• Starting rate of $26.50 per hour.
• Overtime rate of $39.75 per hour after 40 hours in a week.
• Daily 8 Hour Minimum Pay Guarantee of $212.00.
• Weekly 40 Hour Minimum Pay Guarantee of $1060.00.
• Generous $5000 Sign-On Bonus
