We are seeking a versatile Content Creator based in Orange County, CA, who excels in video editing and cinematography. This is a partial to full time (25-40 hours/week), contract role for 6 months, involving the creation of diverse content, including Training Procedure videos, YouTube videos, Instagram Reels, corporate training videos, and documentary-style storytelling videos. You will primarily work with Matt, who previously led video production at Chipotle and resides in Orange County. Our clients include big brands like Denny's, Mendocino Farms, Din Tai Fung, Pizza Hut, and more, as well as small businesses, offering you a wide range of project experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Shoot and edit video content for platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and corporate channels.
- Develop and execute creative concepts for documentary-style storytelling.
- Utilize Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Premiere Pro, for video editing.
- Manage the entire content creation process, from pre-production to post-production, under the direction of the Training Simplified team.
- Collaborate with our creative team to ensure content aligns with our brand's vision.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in video editing and cinematography.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Strong camera skills and experience in shooting high-quality video content.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Portfolio showcasing a range of video content, including storytelling and corporate videos.
- A "let's figure it out" attitude, ready to tackle challenges like animated text, lighting food shots, or identifying social media trends.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience in managing a social media calendar.
- Interest in overseeing social media content strategy and execution.
- Own gear is a plus, but we also provide Sony cameras for use.
Compensation:
- Pay range: $26-$30 per hour, commensurate with experience.
