What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Manager - Warehouse Operations position at Training Technologies and Support, Inc.?
Training Technologies and Support, Inc. (TTS) has an exciting opportunity for a Program Manager (PM) to support our government customer in Golden, CO. The PM works directly for the Regional Operations and Maintenance Program Manager and is responsible for the overall work performed by all assigned contractors and for the completion of all contract deliverables across the facility(ies). The PM is responsible for maintaining a safe, orderly work environment while meeting production and quality performance standards. To accomplish these tasks the On-Site PM must work closely with the TTS Regional Operations and Maintenance PM, our government customer, and workers. Work is typically performed during a daytime shift Monday through Friday, except for Federal Holidays. After hours or weekends are required on occasion to handle potential surge requirements. These requirements are rare.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Serve as liaison between TTS and the Government’s Contracting Officer Representative (COR), having full authority to act for the contractor on all matters relating to the daily work performance
- Ensure compliance with all government laws, regulations, and policies
- Directly responsible for all reporting, administrative, and HR actions (resume review, hiring, disciplinary actions, etc.)
- Shall prepare workflows, staffing requirements, and action plans that meet the contractual standards for productivity
- Meet regularly with government supervisory warehouse teams to analyze productivity, including quality assurance, inventory control, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment
- Work with government personnel to adjust staffing levels and/or work procedures to accommodate resources allocated to operate warehouse operations
- Maintain current and accurate files and records to prepare a Weekly Production Report as well as periodic and special reports
- Upon COR request, provide a summary of duties performed/accomplished by each employee detailing the number of orders and items shipped in excel spreadsheet by the last duty day of each week
- Responsible for ensuring all contract staff are current and compliant with required VA Trainings and certifications for operating warehouse equipment
- Meets periodically with the Program Manager to review TTS’ performance on contract and to institute any changes that may be deemed necessary
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Master's Degree or Program Management Certification
- Ten years’ experience supporting a large corporation or government agency through all management phases, from planning through close out, of an integrated supply chain distribution system
- Able to gain access to federal government facilities-Tier 1 Background Investigation is required
- Possess a strong knowledge and experience in inventory management, logistics, supply chain operations and receipt of goods, storage, order fulfillment, and distribution/shipping
- Proficient in the following inventory software and systems: Microsoft Windows 10 (or later), Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office 2010 (or later), data entry, and keyboarding
- Ability to implement and follow all federal and building health and safety policies
- Solid decision-making skills are required as are attention to detail, problem solving skills, and organizational skills
- Must demonstrate flexibility required to react to changes and frequent interruptions in a positive and productive manner
- Must possess excellent, verbal and interpersonal skills required to provide leadership and customer service
- Physically able to meet the demands of both warehouse and management work
- Ability to work independently without supervision
