Monday-Friday, commonly needed shifts are 9:30 AM-6:00 PM, 10:30 AM-7:00 PM, or 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM. Other shifts may be available between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM EST, for full-time hours, based on team needs.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience), Required.
- 5-10 years of experience in both systems and network administration, with senior or lead experience, preferred.
- Proven experience managing complex IT environments, including servers, virtualization, and network infrastructure.
- 5 years’ experience in the medical/healthcare field (i.e. hub services, pharmacy, doctor's office, hospital administration, etc.), preferred.
- Experience managing Active Directory environments, including multi-site replication, advanced GPO targeting, and PowerShell tools.
- Experience managing Exchange On-Prem environments (2013, 2016, 2019), including DAG, backups, and EAC tools.
- Proficiency in server administration (Windows/Linux) and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Experience with storage management, backups, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and VLANs.
- Familiarity with firewall and VPN configurations (e.g., Cisco, pfSense, OpenVPN).
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- CompTIA Security , Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), a plus.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or other relevant network certifications, a plus.
- Experience with Bash and PowerShell is a plus.
- Maintain HIPAA patient confidentiality, as well as discretion regarding proprietary company information.
- Adaptable, able to shift gears and focus based on company and team needs.

Senior Systems and Network Administrator
Essential Functions:
- Systems Administration:
- Install, configure, and maintain servers (Windows, Linux) and related systems.
- Oversee virtualization environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) for server consolidation and scalability.
- Manage storage systems and perform regular backups, ensuring system data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.
- Monitor and maintain system performance, applying patches and updates to operating systems and software.
- Ensure high availability and performance of systems supporting business applications.
- Network Administration:
- o Support and maintain LAN/WAN connectivity, including configuration of routers, switches, and wireless networks.
- Assist in maintaining firewalls and VPNs, ensuring secure communication and access for remote users.
- Perform network troubleshooting, working to resolve connectivity issues quickly.
- Monitor network performance and implement improvements for efficiency and scalability.
- Security & Compliance:
- Implement and manage both system and network security measures, including user access control, firewalls, and antivirus solutions.
- Conduct regular security audits, ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., HIPAA, HITRUST).
- Respond to security incidents and assist in the development of disaster recovery plans.
- Ensure regular backups of critical systems and data, managing restore procedures and testing.
- Project Management:
- Lead system and network projects, such as system upgrades, network expansions, and cloud migrations.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute projects, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Work closely with other IT staff to integrate new technologies and optimize existing systems.
- Collaboration & Leadership:
- Serve as a technical lead for IT staff, providing mentorship and guidance.
- Collaborate with other departments and vendors to support business needs, including new software implementations and infrastructure changes.
- Coordinate with management to develop IT strategy and infrastructure roadmaps.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain detailed documentation of system and network configurations, processes, and security protocols.
- Provide regular reports on system performance, security risks, and project progress to senior management.
- Ensure documentation is up to date for auditing and compliance purposes.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of IT and/or Leadership.
- Must exhibit excellent skills in the following areas: verbal/written communication, computer/data entry/software proficiency, interpersonal and relationship-building skills, self-discipline, pro-activeness, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
