Claims Processing :

Prepare claim files, including printing policy applications and other necessary documentation.

Complete claim forms and track data for specific state requirements (e.g., Texas spreadsheet).

Investigate and provide recommendations for policy rescission when necessary.

Verify claim payments and prepare journal entries for disbursement approval.

Policy Administration :

Terminate policies, enter payee details, and record the cause of death in the system.

Handle death claim calls from agents, funeral homes, and clients, including quoting death benefits and suspending policies.

Research and resolve policy inquiries while updating claims checklists.

Documentation & Customer Service :

Prepare files for imaging and ensure audit readiness.

Follow up on pending claims for outstanding documents.

Answer customer service calls, providing excellent support. Qualifications

Strong clerical experience with excellent attention to detail.

Previous claims experience or a strong desire to learn the business.

Professional maturity and the ability to handle sensitive situations. Schedule
