trak group is working with an organization in Monroe, Ohio, to find a Compensation & Benefits Specialist who is ready to make an impact. Responsibilities
Administer benefits enrollment and ensure accurate data management across systems for employees in Ohio and Nevada.
Conduct weekly audits of benefit enrollments and terminations, ensuring compliance with COBRA and other regulations.
Partner with the onsite nurse to manage employee leaves, including STD, LTD, FMLA, and ADA, in alignment with policies.
Respond to employee and manager inquiries regarding benefit eligibility, claims, coverage, and policy changes.
Oversee accurate and timely employer contributions and payroll deductions for benefits providers.
Manage annual benefits open enrollment, including employee communications, scheduling meetings, and reviewing enrollments.
Ensure compliance with legislative updates, revising HR policies to align with state and local laws.
Reconcile benefit vendor statements, process monthly invoices, and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications
Experience : Minimum of 3 years in benefits administration; experience with Paycor Benefits system highly preferred.
Knowledge : Extensive understanding of employee benefits, compensation, COBRA, and applicable laws.
Skills :
Ability to communicate complex information effectively across all levels of the organization.
Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and experienced in supporting internal audits.
Education : Associate degree in HR, Human Capital Management, or Business Administration required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Certifications : Professional certifications like SHRM-CP or PHR are a plus.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, fully onsite.
Flexible hours : 8 : 00 AM–5 : 00 PM or 7 : 00 AM–4 : 00 PM.
