As an Intensive Home-Based Treatment (IHBT) Counselor, you’ll provide trauma-informed care and evidence-based mental health treatments directly in clients’ homes and communities. Responsibilities
Provide home-based therapy and support for a small caseload of 4-6 youth / families.
Offer flexible, on-call crisis response and face-to-face interventions as needed.
Conduct safety assessments and develop personalized safety plans.
Utilize trauma-informed mental health treatments and evidence-based practices.
Participate in individual and group supervision, core training, and professional development.
Collect client feedback to ensure effective and personalized care delivery. Qualifications
Bachelor’s level license in social work or related field.
Proven experience working with youth, families, and groups addressing behavioral and emotional issues.
Proficiency in trauma-informed care, family systems treatment, motivational interviewing, crisis intervention, and DSM-5 / ICD-10 knowledge.
