IT Manager – Enterprise Application Development
trak group is partnering with a leading manufacturer to identify an IT Manager – Enterprise Application Development for their Troy, OH facility. This on-site position offers the opportunity to lead enterprise application projects, oversee a multi-functional IT team, and drive innovation utilizing the Microsoft Technology Stack, including .NET, SharePoint, Azure, and SQL Server.
Position Overview
The IT Manager will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of enterprise application development projects, including ideation, solution design, development, quality assurance, and transition. This role will collaborate with both offshore and onshore teams, ensuring effective project execution and alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead enterprise application development projects, ensuring quality and timely execution.
Manage offshore and onshore teams, providing staffing, training, and oversight.
Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, balancing multiple initiatives.
Work with .NET, .NET Core, MVC, C#, REST API, Webservices, and Angular 2 .
Support Oracle and SQL databases on Windows / Linux, including PL / SQL and AngularJS.
Utilize MS Azure, AD, Storage, and Azure SQL, adhering to cloud security best practices.
Maintain and enhance MES systems to improve operational efficiency.
Execute projects using SDLC / Stage Gate methodology, collaborating with cross-functional teams. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Project Management certification is a plus).
15 years of IT experience, with 10 years in enterprise application management.
Hands-on experience with .NET, C#, REST API, Angular 2 , Oracle SQL, and PL / SQL.
Expertise in MS Azure, AD, and cloud-based solutions.
Experience with MS Visio, UML, and MS Project (preferred).
Strong project management skills, including Gantt charts, budgeting, and resource planning.
Ability to manage multi-vendor offshore and onshore teams.
Manufacturing or MES system experience highly preferred.
