Manage all aspects of medical billing – insurance verification, claim submissions, payment posting, and patient collections.
Work with multiple payer types – commercial insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, HMOs, and other government payers.
Resolve billing discrepancies – identify and correct issues that could delay payments or cause claim rejections.
Communicate with patients regarding their financial responsibility and assist with billing inquiries.
Collaborate with leadership to improve billing accuracy and efficiency. What You’ll Need
High school diploma or GED required (Associate degree preferred).
1-2 years of medical billing experience.
Experience with insurance claims and payer systems across multiple provider types.
Understanding of co-pays, deductibles, CPT, ICD-10, and NCCI coding (preferred but not required).
Proficiency in electronic claims processing and insurance verification.
