trak group is working with a well-established equipment and service provider to find a Senior Service Manager to lead rental, service, and repair operations. What You’ll Do
Ensure the rental fleet meets corporate and industry standards for serviceability, quality, and readiness.
Lead the service and rental teams to meet delivery and repair commitments.
Manage department budgets, track financial performance, and improve operational efficiencies.
Oversee service and repair work orders, ensuring accurate documentation and invoicing.
Supervise and develop Service / Shop Supervisors, Work Leads, and assigned teams.
Analyze workflows and processes to enhance quality, safety, and productivity.
Collaborate with fleet management to maintain and update rental fleet assets.
Work with inside and outside sales teams to communicate fleet availability.
Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies.
Occasionally travel for business-related matters.
What You Bring
5 years of leadership experience in a service or operations role with profit / loss responsibility.
5 years managing a service department in equipment, automotive, or a related industry.
Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, pneumatics, drivetrains, and diesel / gasoline engines.
Experience with workload scheduling, QA / QC best practices, and inventory control.
Budget management and financial oversight experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
