Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Assembly Fabricator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and assembling extruded aluminum frames and guards using a variety of tools and equipment. You should have a good eye for detail and excellent manual dexterity, as well as strong problem-solving skills to ensure the highest standard of quality. If you have a passion for creating high-quality products with precision, this could be the perfect role for you.
This is a full-time opportunity, M-F (6:00 am to 2:30 pm EST) with occasional overtime opportunities.
Essential Job Functions:
- Read and understand blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Select materials and components according to the specifications
- Assemble parts using hand tools and power tools including but not limited to torque wrenches, chop saw, drill press
- Measure, cut, and shape materials to the required dimensions
- Fit and align parts to ensure a perfect fit
- Test and troubleshoot assembled products to ensure proper functioning
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Maintain and organize work area and tools
- Follow safety procedures and regulations
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints/specifications
- Ability to use standard measuring instruments
- Knowledge of assembly techniques and processes
- Ability to operate hand and power tools
- Ability to use basic fabrication tools such as jigs, fixtures, drills, and saws
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment and ability to multi-task
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow specific instructions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of safety practices and procedures
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
Physical Requirements:
- Must have good vision, with or without the aid of vision correction.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands; and talk or hear. May be required to perform repetitive tasks, sit, climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 75lbs and 100 pounds with assistance.
