Position Summary :
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for trouble shooting & making repairs to machinery and equipment as well as overseeing a small maintenance crew.
Responsibilities :
- Mechanical repairs to a variety of plant production equipment.
- Hydraulic repairs to a variety of plant production equipment.
- Electrical & PLC trouble shooting and repairs to variety of mechanical equipment.
- General electrical repairs to buildings and equipment.
- Generating and completing maintenance work orders for record keeping.
- Assigning work assignments to other team members and keeping them on track.
- General Preventive Maintenance tasks on a variety of plant equipment.
- Researching and ordering replacement parts and completing purchase requisitions.
- Light fabrication of replacement parts using general maintenance department equipment.
- Other tasks assigned by supervisor
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 5 years maintenance experience in a production setting.
- Knowledge and experience making mechanical repairs on a variety of machinery & equipment.
- Understanding hydraulics and hydraulic systems on equipment.
- Knowledge in PLC logic and trouble- shooting computer / machine software.
- Knowledge in electrical repairs. An electrician's license is a plus.
- Experience working on Mechanical & Hydraulic presses, Injection molding presses, Welding equipment, Welding robots, CNC equipment and Fiber Optic Lasers.
- Able to safely lift and handle up to 50 pounds
