Janitor Job Description
Location: Pharr, TX, 78577
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize floors, restrooms, windows, and other surfaces throughout the building.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum common areas and offices.
- Empty trash bins and replace liners regularly.
- Maintain cleanliness in break rooms and kitchen areas, including cleaning dishes and wiping down countertops.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces to keep them streak-free.
- Replenish supplies like soap, toilet paper, and paper towels as needed.
- Perform minor maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and replacing air filters.
- Respond to emergency cleaning needs (spills, accidents, etc.) promptly.
- Follow all safety and cleaning protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the supervisor.
- Assist with other tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, chemicals, and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high cleanliness standards.
