Tax Compliance Analyst
Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Tax Compliance Analyst to collaborate closely with our Accounting and Finance departments. In this role, the Tax Compliance Analyst will be responsible for designing and implementing tax policies and strategies, as well as evaluating managerial processes to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements. Additional responsibilities include tax planning, reporting, and the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns. The ideal candidate will be an analytical, detail-oriented professional with a strong ability to solve complex tax-related challenges.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing business and investment strategies aimed at optimizing tax returns.
- Ensure corporate tax return preparation complies with all regulatory requirements.
- Review operational processes and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant local statutes and regulations.
- Recommend and implement policies and procedures to improve the collection of tax-related information from department managers.
- Analyze tax data to ensure compliance with tax laws by evaluating company policies and procedures.
- Identify potential compliance risks and inefficiencies, offering recommendations for process improvements.
- Prepare detailed reports for leadership, providing insights into trends and changes in tax regulations.
- Assist in forecasting tax liabilities and supporting strategic decision-making.
- Require strong analytical and research skills, with a focus on identifying and resolving complex compliance issues.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, advising the company on necessary adjustments.

Experience and Education Requirements:

- Demonstrated experience managing large volumes of accounting documentation for a corporation or large organization
