For this role, you'll need to showcase your ability to effectively handle export documentation and logistic operations with the utmost accuracy and efficiency. Our ideal candidate will be someone experienced in air freight operations, with a steadfast focus on upholding regulations and meeting deadlines. Job duties will include but not limited to:
1. Managing all aspects of the export process, from bookings to billing.
2. Coordinating with airlines, trucking companies and other parties to ensure smooth shipping operations.
3. Accurately completing all required documentation, ensuring all customs declarations are made in line with regulations.
4. Monitoring shipments and providing regular updates to customers about their cargo.
Requirements:
Our perfect fit will have:
1. Prior experience in air export operations or similar roles.
2. 2 years of CargoWise experience.
3. 3 years of air export / time critical experience.
4. Strong understanding of export regulations and customs requirements.
5. Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and data entry.
6. Outstanding communication skills to liaise with customers, shippers, and carriers.
7. Past operational experience of A-Z freight forwarding; assembly line candidates need not apply.
