We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects in New York City, with a focus on projects under the School Construction Authority (SCA). The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety standards and building codes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise day-to-day operations on construction sites, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
- Manage subcontractors, laborers, and other construction personnel.
- Monitor project progress and report any issues to project managers, including adherence to SCA-specific requirements.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards are met, particularly for SCA-related projects.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, including SCA representatives, to resolve issues and ensure project success.
- Maintain accurate records of materials, equipment, and work progress, with attention to SCA documentation standards.
