As a key member of our team, you will represent clients in all phases of litigation, from pre-trial motions to trial preparation and resolution. Key Responsibilities:
• - Represent clients in insurance defense matters
• - Manage and litigate cases from inception through resolution, including pre-trial, discovery, motion practice, settlement negotiations, and trial.
• - Provide legal analysis and strategic advice to clients on risk management and compliance matters.
• - Draft, review, and file legal documents such as complaints, answers, motions, and discovery responses.
• - Work closely with insurance adjusters, risk managers, expert witnesses, and other stakeholders to develop defense strategies.
• - Maintain and manage a caseload efficiently while meeting deadlines and client expectations.
• - Stay current on developments in insurance defense and relevant regulations.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active bar membership in CA
- First Chair Trial experience necessary
- Need 10 years of insurance defense experience
- Need subject matter expertise defending against general liability, products liability and commercial automobile claims. Previous experience with toxic tort claims is a plus
- Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Proven track record in managing complex litigation and successfully representing clients in construction-related legal matters.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle a high-volume caseload.
Salary : $200,000 - $215,000
