Job Summary :
Assembler who completes final assembly processes for chillers including panel installation, pallet fabrication, final job assembly process, assembling beam systems, installing fans by reading and understanding blueprint / schematics, and preparing units for shipment
Responsibilities :
- Read 3-dimesional and 2-dimensional blueprints and schematics to determine dimensions, design and materials needed for performing duties.
- Install exterior panels
- Produce pallets and crates for shipping
- Assemble beam systems of full job assemblies
- Install and wire fan assemblies
- Install panels / louvers / and tops to complete unit assembly
- Modify panels, according to blueprints, to allow opening for header connections
- Wrap or heat shrink units to prepare for shipping
- Load trucks for shipments
- Assist with other departments as needed
