Job Description
The Service Center Coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordinating, controlling, and directing activities of operational resources.
This individual will coordinate the execution of agreement fulfillment in both an office and hands-on shop setting.
This includes procuring the appropriate materials for work completion, inventory management, and shipping/receiving activities.
Coordinating job priorities with the Area Service Manager will be an everyday occurrence.
Responsibilities
- Covers all aspects of customer service including phone calls, emails, and walk-in customers.
- Coordinates service center resources, including ordering, shipping, and receiving of parts and materials.
- Interacts and communicates with Project Managers and Account Managers.
- Coordinates with Procurement Department to fulfill equipment needs.
- Generates work orders, reviews shipping and receiving paperwork, and inputs information into a warehouse management program to generate various reports.
- Works in the shop, as needed, to support operations.
- Operate power equipment such as forklifts and scissor lifts to load and unload equipment and/or accessories from 32' to 53' trailers.
- Operate a yard truck to move and/or stage trailers for shipment.
Requirements
- Certificate/degree from college or technical school with one (1) year related experience and/or training;
- Or three (3) years of related experience and/or training with HS Diploma/GED.
- CDL-A License required.
- Must have excellent Customer Service skills - need to be extremely comfortable and effective on the phone.
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.
- Familiarity with the operation of Energy Management Systems, HVAC Systems and/or Temperature Controls preferred.
Work Environment
This role may be exposed to variable weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, heights, noisy operating equipment and other variable environmental conditions based on location.
This role has been designated by the Company as Safety Sensitive.
