Job Summary :

This position is primarily responsible for warehouse and assembly operations using a Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) to move goods and materials anywhere at the Vidalia, GA location.

Responsibilities :

1.Moves goods and material within a production environment using a Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV)

2.Loading, unloading, or moving goods and material from one location to another with a forklift or other PIV

3.Operates warehouse computer software with moderate expertise

4.Observe equipment operation in order to detect malfunctions

5.Support plant cost reductions and process improvement projects through the use of various lean methods and techniques

6.Assist in process improvement efforts by working with the Process Engineers to identify, implement and validate process changes

7.Participate in lean manufacturing as well as plant initiatives as needed

8.Ability to utilize a variety of PIV equipment

Qualifications and Requirements :

• Must have a valid Forklift / Tugger License
• 5 years' experience in warehouse
• Must have Ultriva experience
• Ability to speak, read and write English, understand simple written or oral instructions
• Ability to work in a team environment with limited supervision
• Work any shift and work overtime as necessary to ensure production demands are realized
• Work multiple jobs both within and outside assigned work area
• Use all required safety gear and equipment
• Comply with all established Plant rules and policies
• Maintain an acceptable attendance record. Refer to Attendance & Punctuality Policy for complete guidelines
• Must always adhere to dress code
