As a Materials NDT Technician at Trane Technologies, you'll be working side by side with experienced professionals to support the development of various components and systems in the Trane Technologies Engineering & Technology Center in La Crosse, Wisconsin. This position will primarily involve laboratory materials testing and interpretation of results for multiple sample types. Previous experience with NDT, materials analysis, corrosion, specifications, and test protocols is desired.

Where is the work :

This position has been designated as Onsite.

What you will do :

• Perform radiographic, eddy current, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, and visual inspections on laboratory projects
• Collect, manage, and evaluate test data for accuracy and consistency.
• Prepare reports and other work documents as directed by engineering staff in a timely and accurate manner
• Participate in development of best practices and procedures for radiography testing.
• Work safely; maintain a clean and safe work area in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Set up and perform standardized laboratory tests with preparation of material test samples for mechanical testing equipment, optical microscopes, radiographic testing (RT), Penetrant Testing (PT), and SEM / EDS.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot instruments.
• Less than 5% travel required.

Work Environment :

This position works in a typical office and laboratory environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Compensation :

Base Pay Range : $46,000 - $62,000
