Essential Functions
Perform welding and grinding operations on assemblies using wire feed arc welding machines
Education
High school diploma or GED
Successful completion of the GMAW 1 welding course through Central Community College
Certifications
King Certification process within the first 30 days of hire.

- Rejected and/or missing welds
- Demonstrate ability to read and understand TK prints for specific department.
- Must successfully complete a welding demonstration
- Internal bidders must complete the GMAW 1 welding course through CCC before being considered for the position,
King Certification process within the first 30 days of hire.
Introductory Level: Primary focus is learning the process
- Successful completion of introductory period (6 months)

- Demonstrate good quality welds in both aluminum and/or steel by meeting department requirements
- Demonstrate ability to make minor adjustments on machines, including maintenance by meeting department checklist
- Be able to demonstrate the ability to use all required measuring equipment
- Be able to demonstrate the ability to identify, load/unload jigs and fixtures
- Successfully complete and maintain two of the necessary certifications
- Have a basic understanding of documentation (examples include ISO, Windchill, Kanban, and TKSs).
