About the Role
The Domain Architect will play a critical role in establishing strategies across multiple business units and leading the selection and adoption of transformative technologies to meet stakeholders' objectives.
Responsibilities
- Set the vision for future state technology to transform Trane's capabilities for the Strategic Business Unit
- Advocate for and adopt enterprise target states and roadmaps that enable business objectives across multiple functions
- Research, evaluate, and lead proof of concepts for technologies to assess applicability, compatibility, and viability
- Define and design future state reference architectures, standards, and patterns to drive standardization, simplification, reduced time to market, and lower Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
- Work closely with business leaders, project managers, and IT teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Lead and mentor development teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- A Master's degree is a plus
- 15 years of proven and progressive experience in IT
- 8 years of experience in technology architecture, design, strategy, and management
- 5 years of experience in architecture supporting one or more business functions such as supply chain, marketing, sales, operations, or digital experience
- Global exposure in a multinational company is an asset

- Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan
- Competitive base pay range: $130,000-190,000
