Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The shift we are seeking is Thursday-Monday. Our weekends do include a nice differential.
Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Monitor and document patient observations, reporting any changes in condition to healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Support clients with hospice care needs, ensuring comfort during end-of-life transitions.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations while providing care.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
Requirements
- Previous experience in assisted living home community care or long-term care settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques and direct support practices is essential.
- Certification in CPR and First aid is required
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
