Job Summary:
Supports Shop Operators by managing inventory.
Essential Functions:
- Maintaining inventory by communicating parts needs to vendors and verifying correct parts are received.
- Picking up and delivering parts.
- Record-keeping.
- Assisting with maintaining organization in the shop area.
- Performing manual labor, as needed (ie: silt fence, shovel, rake, broom, sledgehammer, continuous bending over picking up objects).
- Report issues to the Site Supervisor.
- May perform other duties as assigned by Site Supervisor.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
Training Requirements:
- Trans Ash will provide necessary safety training for the job.
Experience:
- Prior experience servicing heavy trucks/equipment/ automotive preferred.
Other information:
- Overtime may be required.
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, lifting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb, operate vehicles and small equipment.
- Must be able to work in a construction environment.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to successfully pass a drug test, MVR, and background check.
