We are looking to fill a key role in our Quality Assurance department.
We are looking for someone with strong experience in wire and cable manufacturing—someone who understands materials like copper (bare and plated, solid and stranded), and different low and high-temp compounds such as PVC, HDPE, FEP, TPU, ETFE and PVDF. Familiarity with extrusion, insulating and jacketing processes, is important. We are also looking for someone with a solid grasp of relevant quality standards (AS9100D, ISO 9001, UL, ETL, MIL-SPEC, etc.).
We need a QA professional who can lead in developing, maintaining and enforcing our QMS. In addition, this person will not only need to understand inspection and testing methods (spark testing, elongation, Hi-pot testing, DSX, Network analyzer, etc.), but also needs proven experience with internal auditing, root cause analysis, and is able to identify, implement and track corrective/preventive actions.
Must have the ability to manage a team, not only as a team leader, but, as a team player, that can communicate with superiors as well as subordinates is very important to us.
This is a leadership-level position, and we’re hoping to find someone who brings a strong sense of ownership and a continuous improvement mindset.
