What You Will Do In This Role
- Serve as an essential point of contact for all assigned customer accounts.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular interactions and exceptional service.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries and issues related to pricing, quality, delivery, and technical requirements.
- Enter and manage Requests for Quotation (RFQs) accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams to finalize pricing letters and other sales documentation.
- Work closely with Business Development Directors to provide updates and insights on customer accounts.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on customer requirements and deliverables.
- Proactively address and resolve quality concerns, pricing discrepancies, and delivery or expedite issues.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely and effective resolution of customer challenges.
- Evaluate the technical feasibility of customer requirements and provide feedback to stakeholders.
- Ensure all customer form requirements, audits, and compliance standards are met.
- Conduct virtual and face-to-face meetings with customers to discuss ongoing projects, resolve issues, and strengthen relationships.
- Represent Trans-Matic professionally at all customer engagements, including on-site visits and presentations.
- Stay informed about customer needs and industry trends to anticipate opportunities.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for account growth and additional revenue streams.
- Provide input on strategic sales initiatives to support company goals.
What We Are Looking For
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
- 3-5 years of experience in account management, sales, project management, or project engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or technical industry.
- Working knowledge of mechanical products and related product design.
- Working knowledge of precision componentry; functions, and fit/mating characteristics.
- Value engineering capability and ability to interact with product design engineering.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to conceptualize and articulate complex technical information to others.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings and on-site visits.
