Job Description
As a Supply Chain Coordinator at TransOva, you will be integral to ensuring the precision and efficiency of our supply inventory as well as Logistics operations. Your role will involve meticulous inventory reporting, reconciling supply expenses with actual sales procedures, and collaborating with IT to develop a cutting-edge supply management tool. By supporting daily purchasing needs and overseeing month-end inventory processes, you will drive operational excellence and contribute significantly to our strategic supply chain goals. Inventory Management
- Picking and Packing
- Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels
- Inventory audits
- Set and adjust reorder points
- Oversee the transfer of inventory between locations
- Oversee the shipping and receiving processes
- Work with logistics partners to optimize transportation routes
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient storage, picking, and packing of orders
- Ensure all shipments comply with relevant customs regulations and company policies
- Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers
- Issue purchase orders, track order status, and ensure timely receipt of materials
- Negotiate pricing and contracts
- Review and analyze supply chain data
- Generate regular reports on inventory levels, purchasing activities, and logistics performance
- Identify and implement process improvements within the supply chain
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Highly valued: Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCP)
- Experience working in JDE highly desired
- Proficiency in utilizing supply chain systems, data analysis tools, such as a TMS, WMS, Power BI, or Qlikview
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities
- Proficient in building relationships and providing excellent customer service
- Strong organizational skills, particularly in managing details crucial to the supply chain process
- Skillful interpretation and application of relevant laws, regulations, and policies in the context of supply chain operations.
- Excellent time management to meet critical deadlines in the fast-paced industry
