Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Import Specialist. The Import Specialist will be responsible for handling day-to-day tasks related to import shipments. This includes processing import documents, communicating with clients and vendors, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Import and International Trade regulations and procedures
- Experience in Customer Service and Import Export operations
- Proficiency in using automated systems such as ACE and Importer Security Filing
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- High School Diploma (Prefer higher education Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field experience)
- Experience in customs brokerage, freight forwarding, or related industry is preferred
- Cargowise software experience is preferred
